Joshua Peyton "Josh" Ballard, 14, a life-long resident of Irving, died suddenly Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Born November 6, 2007 in Irving, he is the son of Wendy Denney and Curtis Ballard. Josh had just begun his freshman year at Irving High School. Survivors include his mother Wendy Denney of Irving; his father Curtis Ballard and his wife Tonya of Lancaster; his sister, Kristin Castleman of Irving; a step-sister Delilah Counts of Irving; a half-brother, Nathan Ballard of Mesquite; his maternal grandmother Betty Kilcrease and husband Willie of Irving; aunts, Allyson Batte of Gainesville, Jessica Denney of Idaho, Tammy Jensen and husband Todd of Argyle and Andrea Lewis of West, Texas; an uncle Adam Denney of Idaho; and several cousins.
