Josephine Sanchez Solis, born on September 18, 1944, in San Juan, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. The youngest of twelve siblings, she was known for her loving and vibrant spirit. Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Felipa Vega Sanchez, as well as her beloved husband of 51 years, Edward "Lalo" Solis. A Christian Mass Service in her honor will take place on 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at St. Francis Catholic Church, located at 861 Wildwood Lane in Grapevine, Texas. Following the service, burial will occur at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, Texas, on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Josephine leaves behind a cherished family, including her children, Irene Solis, Eric Solis (wife, Thelma), and Kathy Solis; her grandchildren, Lexie Martinez, Nikko Solis, and Zo Solis; as well as her great-grandchildren, Preston Shelley, Oakland Wilson, Taelynn Wilson, and Julianne Wilson. She is also survived by her sister, Andrea Sanchez, and her brother, Pablo Sanchez (wife, Beatrice). Her memory will be forever treasured by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
