Johnny Lee Bacon, age 67, born February 25, 1947 returned home to his loving Father May 24, 2014. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Turner Bacon; daughter, Angela Bacon Kidwell, "the apple of his eye"; son-in-law, John Kidwell; beloved son, Chad Bacon; devoted mother, Mattie Lou Bacon; loving sister, Rhonda Bacon Miller; two precious grandsons, Bleu Kidwell, Trusten Bacon; and numerous other family members and friends. A member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, Johnny was a veteran of the United States Air Force. President of his 47 year old family business, Airmec, Inc., Johnny was a loving, responsible, devoted family man and enjoyed many adventurous activities with lifelong friend, Wade Petty. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 9700 Webb Chapel Road, Dallas, Texas 75220.
