John, age 72, passed away at his home in Euless, TX on August 4, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Frank and Elizabeth Grubb. John was a loving husband, brother, wonderful father, step-dad and the best papaw ever. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sue; daughters, Julie Waters (BJ) Dallas, Lara Kline (Doug) Fort Wayne, IN; step-son, David Anderson (Kathy); granddaughter, Laura (Luskie); and his sister, Laurel Tippmann (Joe) Rapid City, SD. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 8, 2011 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Larry Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. We want to thank all our friends and family for the support we received. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
