Joseph Michael "Joe" Drebitko, 71, of Irving, died Monday, June 4, 2018 at Baylor, Scott and White Medical Center in Irving. Born August 29, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John Thomas Drebitko and Eleanor Vivino Drebitko. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, retired from Ryder Aviation and was a member of MacArthur Blvd. Baptist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Drebitko April 30, 2017; he is survived by two daughters, Shanon Norris and husband Richard of Denton, Texas and Tricia Blankenship and husband David of Aubrey, Texas; four grandchildren, Dawson Norris, Caroline Norris, Sydney Blankenship and Alexis Blankenship; two brothers, John Drebitko and wife Liz of Hammonton, New Jersey and Michael Drebitko and wife Terri of Pasadena, Maryland; two step-sons Ken Stansbury and wife Fonda of Mount Vernon and Kevin Stansbury and wife Neneng of Madera, California, and their families. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at MacArthur Blvd. Baptist Church 8001 Mustang Drive in Irving. Private burial will be at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2001 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas 75211 under the direction of Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
