Eva Jo "Jody" Rhea, 76, a longtime resident of Irving, TX died Friday, September 17, 2021 at T. Boone Pickens Faith Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. She was born November 1, 1944 in Waco, Texas to Thomas Alvin and Georgia Ann Perez Bruhin. Jody was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving, a member of the Irving Quilt Guild and the Joy Group at Plymouth Park Baptist Church. She was a personal banker in the banking industry. Jody is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Dokupil and husband Michael of Irving; a son, Kelly Rhea; three grandchildren, Angela Hunter Dokupil, Jordan Taylor Dokupil and Dalton Charles Dokupil; a sister, Eilene Stephens of Cedar Hill; and a brother, Lonnie Bruhin and wife Rhonda of Irving. Visitation will be 10:00 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Plymouth Park Baptist Church, 1714 N. Story Road, Irving, Texas. Funeral services will follow 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery, 6623 South Interstate 35, Robinson, Texas, under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Irving.
