Jessie B. Wilson, age 93, of Highland Village, Texas, a former long-time resident of Irving, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019. Born August 14, 1926 to the late John William and Nannie Lee Richards Killingsworth in Henderson County, Texas, she was raised in East Texas. She graduated from Brownsboro High School and attended Draughons Business College. Even though she spent most of her life in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, she always considered East Texas home. She moved to Dallas in 1946 and met Jewell Elige Wilson through his sister Bobbie, with whom she worked. They were married on July 4, 1946 and made their home in Irving, where she lived until 2014 before moving to Highland Village. Jessie worked for Texas Power and Light from 1966 1987. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Irving, Texas since 1946. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1975, her brothers James Arlon Killingsworth and Cecil Delton Killingsworth, and her sister Johnnie Lee Killingsworth Fulgham. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Gary Lynn Wilson and his husband Albert Carpio of Houston, and son Greg Alan Wilson and his wife Cristi Anne Wilson; a granddaughter Sara Jewel Wilson, all of Highland Village; and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. The family will receive friends 1:00 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 403 South Main Street in Irving. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving. SERVICES
