Jessie Talamantez, age 99, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Azle, Texas. He was born December 23, 1921 in Wilson County, Texas, to Ignacio and Maria Ybarra Talamantez. Jessie was a longtime Irving resident and was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church of Irving. Preceded in death by his wife, Manuela Garza Talamantez, he is survived by his children, Elvira Workman of McKinney, Jesse Talamantez, Jr. and Linda of Arlington, Rudy Talamantez and Sandra Tingle of Azle, Manuel Talamantez and Cindy of Irving and Elva and John DeLeon of Cedar Hill; grandchildren Mark, Jason, Alainna, Melissa, Sarah, Thea, Arthur, Shane, Harley, Leslie, Lisa, Matthew and Michael and numerous great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Funeral will be 2 P.M. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens of Irving. SERVICES
