Jerry Lane Sanchez, Jr., 41, a resident of Grand Prairie for the past six years, formerly of Irving, died Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White in Irving. He was the son of Jerry Lane Sanchez, Sr. of Irving and the late Rosemary Perez Sanchez. He married Mirna Acosta March 6, 2015 in Grand Prairie. He worked for many years at Sonic. He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Mirna Acosta Sanchez of Grand Prairie, two sons, David Anthony Barajas and wife Jessica of Grand Prairie and Joel Cruz Sanchez of Grand Prairie; a daughter, Sarah Angelica Renee Sanchez of Grand Prairie; a brother, Johnny Issac Sanchez and companion Stephanie Hernandez of Irving; a sister, Rebecca Denise Alvarez and husband Luis of Irving; One granddaughter, Ella Mary Jane Barajas; aunts, Matilda Robles and husband Manuel of Dallas and Josie Medoza and husband Paul Banda of Dallas; uncles, Patrick Gonzales and wife Jean of Irving and Richard Wayne Gonzales of Irving; and several cousins. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway. A Rosary/Vigil service will be at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned 11:30 a.m. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 5605 Bernal Drive, Dallas, Texas 75212.
