Jerry Latham, 86, a resident of The Colony, Texas died Thursday, December, 5, 2019 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital of Carrollton. He was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico on September 28, 1933 to the late Walter Latham and Marie Hatfield. He served in Korea in the US Navy, one of the first members of the Mickey Mouse Club and loved playing the guitar. He was a Senior Citizen of the Colony after making that his home in 1972. He married Maxine in 1982. He is preceded in death by is parents; son Larry Latham; stepdaughter, Patricia Sue, stepson, Robert Cooper; brother, Jack Latham and sister, Cerelle Chapman. Jerry is survived by his wife Maxine Latham; daughter, Valerie Latham of Houston, son, Zane Latham and wife Carolyn of Valley View, step-daughters, Earline Kubicek and husband John of Hickory Creek; Rebecca Staton and husband Jack of Lone Oak; twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2:00 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4809 S. Colony Boulevard, The Colony, Texas 75056. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75060. Pastor Mike Elias will officiate. SERVICES Funeral Service
