Noma Jean Wells, 88, departed for her Heavenly home on March 16, 2018. Jean was born January 1, 1930 to the late Lonnie and Lucy (Powell) Edgett in Denison Texas where she grew up and attended school. Jean married Jesse Wells in 1948 and moved to Irving, Texas where Jesse worked for General Motors. Jean worked in electronics assembly for many years but spent many of her younger years raising her family. Afterward, Jean worked for Irving Public Schools. She attended church at Calvary Baptist and First Hurst. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jesse Wells of Monsktown, Texas. She is survived by her children: Steven Wells of Woodbury, Connecticut, Michael and wife Becky Wells of Keller, Texas and Teresa Kirkpatrick of Azel, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018 6-8 PM at Donnelly's. Funeral Service will be 11 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Donnelly's. burial to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. SERVICES
