Jean M. Allen, 73, of Irving, died Thursday, August 9, 2018 at a Carrollton hospital. Born October 2, 1944 in Henderson, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ingvald Larson and Vallie Lorene Spencer Larson. She earned a Bachelor degree from North Texas State University. On May 18, 1968, she married David O. Allen. Jean was a member of Irving North Christian Church. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Charles Larson, she is survived by husband David of Irving; two daughters, Lori Jeanne Allen and husband Gary of Irving and Rachael Marie James and husband Leon of Bedford; five grandchildren, Garrett Allen, Jacob Allen, Ashlyn Allen, Nightly James, and Brystal James; three sisters Loretta Hess of Bloomington, Illinois, Ann Saitta of Dallas, and Rebecca Harris of Irving. A Memorial service for Jean will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062.
