Memorial services for Jay C. Gilliam, 63, of Irving, will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel of Irving 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Jay was born June 15, 1959 in Irving, TX. He was the son of Jerry Calvin Gilliam and Frances Marie Patrick. He passed away Saturday, April 15th at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice in Dallas. Jay had many accomplishments over the years, but his greatest was being the best Paw Paw to Declan and Ava. He showered them both with love and affection and of course candy. Our sweet Paw Paw will be truly missed. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 23 years, Dwan Gilliam; Son, Chris and Genna Gilliam, Son, Chad Gilliam; daughter, Sheena and Mauricio Benson; and his grandchildren, Declan Gilliam and Ava Benson.
