Janiene Johnson, age 46, passed away August 15, 2024. She was born October 11, 1977, in Gary Indiana to Parris and Ruby Johnson. Janiene was a loving daughter, mother, spouse, and friend. She was Intelligent, hardworking, and always the life of the party. She had passion for entertaining people and loved to show off her culinary skills to friends and family every chance she could. Janiene had a giving heart and loved to surprise people with gifts. No matter what the occasion was, or time of year she would find a way to bless you. Janiene is preceded in death by her father Parris Johnson Sr, and her grandmother Rudy Lee. Janiene is survived by her spouse, Shawn Hicks; sons, Parris Johnson, and Christopher Benoit Jr; daughters, Brandi Johnson, Christieauna Benoit, Destiny Benoit, and Miracle Benoit; mother, Ruby Wright, she also leaves behind four siblings, and nine grandchildren.
