JANIE CASTILLO, age 67, a resident of Irving for 27 years, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at an Arlington hospital. Born March 28, 1944 in Littlefield, Texas, she was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Irving. Janie was an avid bingo player. Preceded in death by her father, Raymond Garcia and a sister, Mary Gomez, survivors include her daughters, Lisa Castillo-Coldwell and husband Denny of Euless, Jennifer Castillo-Nunez and husband Thomas of Grand Prairie; sons, Dino Castillo of Irving, Paul Castillo and wife Diana of Irving; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; mother, Ricarda H. Flores; sister, Sallie G. Cortez; brothers, Raymond Garcia, Tony Garcia, Mingo Garcia; and loving partner, Juan Reyna Castillo. Vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 26 at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 204 South MacArthur Blvd., Irving with Rev. Francesco DAgostino as celebrant. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
