"Janice L. Harrington, 91, of Denton, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in Dallas, TX. Janice was born on October 23, 1933 to Claude and Mozelle Smith in Roswell, New Mexico.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 54 years, Thomas Valentine Harrington.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Connie L. Griffin, Patricia "Pat" (husband, Marshall) Stevens, Thomas "Tom" (wife, Danna) Harrington, Shawn (husband, Darrell) Prichard; siblings, Joyce (husband, Joe) Day, Charles (wife, Darla) Smith, Robert Smith; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be at 12:30 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. Pastor Marshall Stevens will be officiating, with burial to follow at 2:30 pm, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery - 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75211-6702

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel."
