Janet Dowler Martin, 83, of Irving died on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. She was born on March 12, 1936 in Midway, Pennsylvania to the late Edgar W. and Ann Isobel (Massey) Dowler. Janet is also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Bell Madewell. Survivors include: sister, Barbara Moss and brother Eddie Dowler, both of Irving; three nephews Rick Moss, Scott Moss and Danny Madewell; and five nieces, Sheri Dowler, Sondra Novak, Malinda Holland, Tiffany Rosen, and Cristy Tull. She earned her Master's Degree from Louisiana State University, authored the book "Cameo III" , and was an artist. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Irving. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 114 West Grauwyler Road, Irving, Texas 75061. Pastor Deborah Jones will officiate. SERVICES
