Jane LaPlace was granted her angel wings on September 7, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born on September 26, 1938. She was just a few weeks shy of her 85th birthday. For her birthday she wanted to go dancing and have drinks. She will now celebrate her birthday pain free in heaven. Her final days were spent surrounded by family that she has touched in so many ways. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois Bowles Martin; father, Joel Carter; husband, Edward Haldane LaPlace Jr. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: daughter, Sherre Holtzman; son, Tony Davila and wife Leigh; grandchildren: Seasyn Holtzman Ruvalcaba; Ashley Holtzman; Stefanie Kelley and husband Michael; Micheal Davila and wife JJ; Zachary Holtzman and wife Mandy; 10 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and concern for others. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E.
