James Jacobe "Jake" Waller Jake passed away at the age of 62 on Wednesday May 3, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. Jake was born in Dallas, TX to the late Betty Carter Hopkins & Jim Waller. He lived in Irving, TX most of his life. He spent the last 20 years as an insurance adjuster sharing the vast knowledge of cars that he had from his 25 years in the paint and body repair industry and just his passion for building fast cars most of his life. Jake was also very passionate about the outdoors and hunting and loved spending time with anyone that shared that passion. He recently had a great desire to help rescue cats and foster them to find them good homes. Jake had a big heart and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1999 and his sister Gail in 2000. He is survived by his wife Denise, step-son Andy, daughter-in-law Abby & grandchildren Escher & Stormie. Also survived by his father Jim, step-mother Marilyn, brother Lucky, sister-in-law Laurel & step-sisters Kelli & Stacy. Also survived by multiple other family & friends. Celebration of Life services with be held on May 20, 2023 at 4pm at Village Baptist Church, Irving. Please come dressed as Jake would know you. SERVICES
