JAMES F. CAUGHLIN, age 83, a resident of Irving for 49 years, died Monday, January 30, 2012 at an Arlington hospital. He was born March 31, 1928 in Temple, Texas to parents, Charles B. Caughlin, Sr. and Marguerite McCormick Caughlin. On August 3, 1963, he married Alicia Diaz in Dallas. He was employed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, retiring after 30 years. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, he is survived by his wife, Alicia of Irving; daughters, Karen Grundy and husband Brad of Oklahoma, Lisa Marciano and husband Michael of Virginia; grandchildren, Kate, Beth, Meg, Monica and Michael. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is 9:30 a.m., Friday, February 3 at the Church of the Incarnation, University of Dallas, 1845 E. Northgate Drive, Irving, where he was a member. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
