James M. Bone, born August 30, 1940, born in Acworth, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, in Decatur, Texas. He married his wife, Dorothy Woodrum, on August 12, 1965, in Midland, Texas. He was a long time resident of Paradise, Texas, in Wise County. James retired from Red Simpson, Inc., where he worked as a foreman installing powerlines for about 50 years. He was the son of the late Woodie E. Bone and Elizabeth Robbins. James was preceded in death by his parents, Woodie and Elizabeth Bone, and his siblings Frances Harris, David Bone, and John Bone. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bone, of Paradise, Texas; one sister, Sue and her husband, Jim Wheeler of California; his children, Robert Harris and his wife, Gayle, of Irving, Texas; Belinda Bone of Newport, Tennessee; Kimberly and her husband Owen of Sturgis, South Dakota, Karen and husband Drue of Anna, Texas; Derek Bone of Paradise, Texas; and Christopher and his wife, Mary of Azle, Texas. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. James will be laid to rest at Cottondale Cemetery in Wise County, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on December 2, 2020. SERVICES
