JACK L. NORRIS, age 91, a resident of Irving since 1969, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at a local care center. Born December 4, 1925 in Caddo Mills, TX, he was the son of the late Lloyd Monroe Norris and Jackie Frances McKee Norris. He was married June 1, 1946 to Juanita Lindsey in East Prairie, Missouri. She preceded him in death August 26, 2010. He retired from General Motors. He was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church in Irving and The Irving Masonic Lodge AF & AM #1218. Survivors include a daughter Deborah Thomas and husband Phil of Sarasota, FL; a granddaughter, Amber Skognes of Bedford; two brothers, Bill Norris of Bryan, TX and Richard Norris of Shelbyville, TX; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Jim Gerlach will officiate. Irving Masonic Lodge AF & AM 1218 will provide Masonic Rites in the chapel service. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Caddo Mills, TX. SERVICES
