Born in a small town in Zacatecas, Mexico, on June 1, 1979, Irma was raised by her loving parents, Ma Severa de Velazquez and Julian Velazquez. She shared a deep bond with her siblings—Martin, Blanca, Luis, and Alina Velazquez—nurturing relationships that remained strong throughout her life.
