HOPE LUGO, age 87, a resident of Irving since 1970, died Monday, November 3, 2014 in an Irving care center. Born November 12, 1926 in West, Texas, the daughter of Thomas Pea and Lucia Acevedo Pea, she married Bob S. Lugo on July 29, 1944 in Waco, Texas. Hope was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving. She was preceded in death by her sons, Bob Louis Lugo and Michael James Lugo, two sisters, and three brothers. Survivors include her husband, Bob of Irving; granddaughter, Louisa Lugo of Irving; sister, Mary Siller of Fort Worth; and brother, Tom Pea of Waco. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne in Irving with Rev. Joel Bako presiding. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
