HERBERT HERBIE FRUGIA, age 80, a resident of Irving, Texas, died Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Carrollton. Born January 29, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas, he was the son of Perry Frugia and Emma Ashworth Frugia. Herbie was formerly employed at Dr. Pepper. Preceded in death by brothers, James Perry Frugia and Jerry Russell Frugia, he is survived by his daughter, Jana Leos of San Antonio; grandchildren, Tiffany Vasquez, Keri Howard and Jeffrey Salazar; great grandchildren, Mariah, Evony, Evan, Alyssa, Olivia and Alyna; sister, Julia Lee Stover of Irving; nephews, James, Raymond, Willie, Eugene; nieces, Sandra, Deborah, Sharon, Darlene, Charlene; and several great nieces and great nephews. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25 in the funeral home chapel.
