HENRY CHARLES HEINIE WITT, age 75, of Irving, died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at an Irving hospital. Born January 12, 1936 in Kingsley, Iowa, he was the son of Henry Carl and Ellen Barinsky Witt. A career Army veteran, he retired as a Chief Warrant Officer. He married Myong Chil February 16, 1974 at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. They moved to Irving from Abilene, Texas in 1998. He was a member of the Living Stone Baptist Church in Dallas. Survivors include his wife Myong of Irving; sons, Kenneth Michael Witt and wife Sheri of Iowa, Charles Craig Witt and wife Kristiana of Pennsylvania and John Peter Witt of Dallas; a sister Joyce Cooper and husband Bob of Oregon; two brothers, Kenneth Witt and wife Kit and Stanley Witt and wife Jean, all of Washington State; four grandchildren, Olivia, Michael, Elizabeth, and Annabel. Funeral service will be 12 noon Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Burial will be at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery (Lane A).
