Helen M. Miller, 82, a 35 year resident of Irving, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017. She was born to the late William C. and Clara B. (Autry) Ballard in Ulan, Oklahoma. Helen was a member of the 1st General Baptist church in Irving. She loved to cook, tend her garden, quilting, hunting: she was known for shooting two turkeys with one bullet on more than one occasion. An avid traveler, she and Milton traveled often and saw more than half of the United States. Helen was a huge NASCAR fan, especially for #11, Denny Hamlin. She is survived by loving husband Milton D. Miller; Children: Pamela Dagley and husband Carl of Scurry, Windell Kerns and wife Susan of Indianola, OK and Therese Jordan and husband Pete or Irving; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two sisters: Thelma Faulkenberry of McAlister, OK and Judy Spearman and husband Norman of Wilburton, OK. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Donnelly's. Funeral Service will be 12 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Pastor Carl Robins officiating. SERVICES
