HARVEY WUISTINGER, age 85, a resident of Irving for 59 years, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at a Flower Mound care center. Born April 6, 1929 in Hamilton, Texas, he was the son of Walter Herman and Sophia Wuistinger. Harvey married Norma Lee Witten in 1953. He was a former crew chief at American Airlines, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by his wife, Norma on October 22, 2013, he is survived by his son, Larry Wuistinger and wife Kathy of Coppell; grandson, Courtney Wuistinger and wife Jamie of Flower Mound; and great granddaughter, Skylar Grace. A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 28 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Graveside service is 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pottsville, Texas with Rev. Don Kingman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
