GUADALUPE LUPE RAMIREZ, age 91, a resident of Irving since 1960, died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born August 18, 1923, she was the daughter of Juan Rivera and Gracianna Caudillo Rivera. She married Hilario G. Lonnie Ramirez on February 1, 1941 in Rockwall. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a retired optician. Survivors include her daughters, Liz Coronado and husband Faustino of Irving, Penny Heatwole and husband James of Denton, and Dee Rodriguez and husband Albert of Carrollton; sisters, Helen Anguiano and husband Joe of Dallas, and Mary Vela of Dallas; twelve grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death also by a son, Robert Ramirez and his wife Ann, and by a daughter, Nancy Romo. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Thursday with a Rosary to be said at 7:00 p.m. at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Deacon Daniel Segovia will preside. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 204 South MacArthur Blvd. in Irving. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas
