Gracie M. Browning, 93, a resident of Irving since 1960, died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Glenview Wellness Center in North Richland Hills. She was born May 25, 1927 in Graham, Texas the daughter of the late Monroe Terrell Clayton and Ella Jane Carter Clayton. She was a sales clerk for the Kresge Department Stores before her retirement and a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jane Huffman; and four brothers, M. T. Clayton, Earl Clayton, Bruce Clayton, and Odell Clayton, she is survived by a daughter Deborah Wolter of Irving; a son, Ronnie Kennedy of Irving; three grandchildren, Ronnie Kennedy, Jr., Jocelyn Van Oss and husband Chad, and Jeremy Kennedy; one great granddaughter, Rylie Kennedy; and companion, Roy Barber of Roanoke. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Tommy Free will officiate.
