Grace Genell Berrier Conner, a long-time Irving resident was born to B. B. and Mope Gilliam on March 15, 1929 in Corsicana, Texas. She passed away September 27, 2021 at age 92. She was a loving mother of eight children, Danny, Clifford, Eddie, Ron, Terry Berrier, Donna Bacak, Norma Lincoln, and Lorie Sheppard; a loving Mema to 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Grace (Mema) cherished her family deeply and all that found their way into her life. She had love for everyone who walked through her door and never met a stranger. She loved to sing and had a song for any occasion up until her last days here on earth. She brought a smile to everyone and believed life was more than life, it was a chance to make memories. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd. SERVICES
