Glenda Turner, 77, (formerly of Irving) of Frisco was born April 20, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ray and Dolores Marshall McDaniel. Glenda passed away, Monday, February 20, 2023 at the Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital in Plano, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Darlene Wrenn and Betty Ross and brother in law Jay Goins. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, James "Jim" Turner; son Darrin Turner, daughter Tammy (husband Jack) Nulty III, grandchildren Jack (wife Alissa) Nulty IV , Brooklynn (husband Hunter) Bolton; great granddaughter Lizzi Bolton and great grandson arriving in June Fisher Bolton ; brothers, Larry (wife Linda) McDaniel and Sam (wife, Frances) McDaniel; Sister Patsy Goins, brother-in-law, Jackie Ross and numerous nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces. She retired from Abbott Laboratory after 20 years and spent her retirement years enjoying and loving her husband, kids, grandkids and family. Her funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2023 at The Crossing Church, 8989 FM 423, Frisco, TX. Pastors Zach and Mandy Miller will be officiating. Her burial will be 11:15 AM, Wednesday, March 1st at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery, in Dallas.
