George C. Pressley, 78, of Euless, formerly of Irving, died suddenly on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at a Bedford hospital. Born March 18, 1942 in Haywood, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Joseph Ernest Pressley and Ruby Elizabeth Rogers Pressley. He graduated from Bethel High School in Canton, North Carolina and attended two years of college. He lived in California and was employed by Max Factor for seventeen years before moving to Irving and was the Director of Operations for Mary Kay Cosmetics in Dallas for seventeen years before his retirement in 1997. He later spent fifteen years working for H and R Block Income Tax Preparation. He was a member of Grace Pointe Church in Irving. He married Patricia R. Neugent August 11, 1984 in Dallas. Preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Lynn Pressley in 1992, his parents, two sisters, Gwyneth Edwards and Juanita Kilby and two brothers, Billy Joe Pressley and Ted Pressley, he is survived by his wife Patricia Pressley of Irving; and four children, Darrell James Pressley and wife Robin of Irving, James Mark Brown of Arlington, Shawna Lucille Myers and husband Tommy of Rockport, Texas, and Carrie Renee Garcia and husband Greg of Irving; eleven grandchildren, Kevin Pressley and wife Kaycie, James Purtell and wife Samantha, Austin Purtell and wife Tracey, Randy Brown, Justin Graham, Gabrielle Pressley, and Rachel Brown, Zachary Brown, Trevor Johnson, Madison Guerrero and Destiny Johnson; eleven great grandchildren, Faith, Charity, Troy, Trent, Scarlet, Leeland, Avery, Noah, Isabella, Kalli and Elliott; two brothers, Wade Pressley and wife Nancy and Ned Pressley and wife Alice all of Canton, North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Wayne Kilby of Canton, North Carolina; and a sister-in-law Cynthia Pressley of Florida. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving; The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grace Pointe Church, 208 South Story Road in Irving.
