GENELL PYLE, age 86, a resident of Allen, Texas for 19 years, formerly of San Benito, Texas died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in a Dallas care center. Born May 23, 1926 in Olney, Texas, she was the daughter of Elbert B. Gray and Effie E. Scogin. Genell was a member of High Pointe Church of Christ in McKinney, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Pyle; her parents; sisters, Modell Akin and Doris Waters; and daughter, Joy Horse. Survivors include her children, Jackie Ziegler of Garland, John Ziegler and wife Denise of Spring, Diana Cole and husband Bob of Georgia, Sherry Wolf of Waco, Pam Nguyen and husband Huy of Texas, Tricia Stull and husband Jim of Nebraska; five granddaughters, Melanie, Crystal, Ashley, Jennifer and Bailey; five great grandsons, Logan, Easton, Braden, Jaxson and Austin; brother, E. B. Gray and wife Pat of Clifton. Service is 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving with Pastor Rodney Knous officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.
