With tears of sadness, we announce the passing of Garland D. Moser. He arrived in this world April 15, 1939 Malakoff, TX. Lived 82 yrs. on his own terms, and departed November 20, 2021 Irving, TX.
Garland was a True Patriot, Proud Texan, and Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator N5EWD. For 51 yrs. He owned and operated All Hours Service Co. in Irving, TX. His word was more accepted than a written contract.
Garland believed the greatest books ever written were the Bible and the Constitution of the United States.
Garland enjoyed eating out, going to Traders Village, estate and yard sales, and watching old western movies. He always made people smile with his one liners. He was also a "Fair Weather" fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
Garland married Patti A. Moser November 25, 1961. Both Garland and Patti were extremely head strong. Family and friends didnt think the marriage would last 6 months, and certainly not 60 years. Garland missed their anniversary by 5 days, but he did make it to heaven by November 23rd, their daughter Alisa Anne Moser-Coles birthday. What a celebration they must have had.
No one could have loved their Granddaughters more than "Grandpoppa". He lived his life for those two girls. He had unconditional love for Julianne and Jon Hughes, Irving, TX and Shannon and Yuan Lin, Peters Township, PA.
"PopPops" heart was overflowing with love for his Great Grandchildren. Cole and "Precious Baby Girl" AnnAlisa Hughes, and Adler and Beckett Lin. Surely the toy venders are missing Garlands money.
Garland is also survived by daughter, Dianna Lynn Rumsey, family members and a lifetime of friendships. If he loved you, you knew it, if he didnt you knew that too.
"Always and Forever No Matter What".
There will be no formal services.
