Frank Scott, age 84, passed away surrounded by his loving family, November 10, 2022. Born September 30, 1938 in Chicago, IL. to the late Jack and Doris (Fitzgerald) Scott, Frank resided in Irving, TX the last fifty plus years of his life. He worked in the hospitality industry as an engineer, rising to Chief Engineer with stints at Sheraton, Marriott and Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas, to name a few. At home, Frank enjoyed working on his cars. He was able to fix most anything. People relied on him. His neighbors could always depend on him to help out when needed. He was quick with a joke and never met a stranger. Before moving to Irving, Frank served in the U.S. Air Force, followed by his service with the Amarillo police department. He is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Russom and her husband James. Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Lucia Perez De Scott; daughters, Cynthia Martin and her husband Rick, Nancy Joseph and her husband Wesley, Melissa Williams and her husband Lawrence and Brandy Walker and her husband Kenon; and one son, Timothy Scott; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062. The funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 18, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. in Irving. SERVICES
