Frank W. Morris, 83, was called to heaven on December 16, 2017. He was born on June 1, 1934 in Fort Worth, Texas. He served his country as a part of the US Navy from 1952 1956. He was a long-time member of Calvary Church. Frank met the love of his life, Velma Lee Morris; they were married October 1, 1982 in Irving, TX. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. He leaves behind his wife Velma Lee; two daughters: Shelley Coffman of Danville, KY and Tina Carter of North Richland Hills, TX; and a son, Lucky Morris of Springtown, TX. He is also survived by a brother, Jack Morris of Alvarado and a sister, Darlene Matthews of Kirksville, MO; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20th at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway, Irving, Texas. A committal service with Navy Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. Guests are invited to gather in Lane 1 by 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the cemetery. SERVICES
