FRANCES J. ALLMON, 94, a resident of Irving for 60 years, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at her home. Born July 21, 1919 near Ladonia, Texas, she was the daughter of John Burl Mullins and Amy Alice Hunter Mullins. She married Paul Newton Allmon October 18, 1935 at Atoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death June 13, 1998. She was a homemaker and member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving. Preceded in death by her husband and siblings, Loretha Burrow, Odessa Presley, Maurine Luckett and J. B. Mullins, she is survived by two daughters Cheryl Glasenapp and husband Roy of Garland and Karen Kirkman and husband Dale of Irving; four grandchildren, Darin Russell and wife Martha, Bryan Russell and wife Leah, Kevin Kirkman, and Kent Kirkman; and three great grandchildren, Shelbe Russell, MariJo Russell and Justin Russell. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Sonora Cemetery near Fairlie, Texas.
