Filipinas Godoy Villacorta, 65, of Grand Prairie, a long-time licensed vocational nurse assisting patients with dialysis, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at her home. Born October 3, 1954 in the Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso Godoy, Sr. and Fresca Cellona Godoy. She grew up in Cabuloan Urdaneta Pangasinan, Philippines, lived in New York for 3 years, graduated from Lyceum-Northwestern University and married Oscar D. Villacorta January 22, 1978 in the Philippines. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church and was employed by Davita Dialysis for over 30 years. Survivors include her husband Oscar D. Villacorta of Grand Prairie; two sons, Oscar J. Villacorta and wife Nyssa Jaine and Kevin Villacorta, all of Grand Prairie; a brother Alfonso Godoy, Jr. of Grand Prairie; a sister Primitiva Godoy of Grand Prairie; two grandchildren, Hayden Jaine Villacorta and Henley Jaine Villacorta; and other family members, Rachelle Ivy Bowlin, Arnold Bowlin, Arianna Bowin, and Andrei Bowlin all of Arlington, and Gerard Godoy and Aldrin Godoy, both of Grand Prairie. Visitations are planned for 6:00 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 22, 2020 and 6:00 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2022 at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2323 Cheyenne in Irving, TX 75062.
