FAYE SMITH, age 82, of Irving, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at her home. Born September 17, 1931 in Bentonia, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Anderson Brewer and Clara Grace Foster Brewer. Preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, William Rothrock on July 18, 1997, and second husband, Billie M. Smith on May 28, 1992. She moved to Irving in 1986. Employed by LTV, Vought, she retired in 1986. Survivors include a daughter Carol Odle of Plano; son, Randy Rothrock and wife Becky of Irving; step-children, Diana Nelson and husband Forrest of Arlington, Gina Smith of Arlington, Lisa Fenner and husband Chad of Fort Worth, and Bob Smith of Temple, Georgia; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Bob Freudiger will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. stjude.org.
