Evelyn Nesselrotte, 94, of Irving, TX died Monday, January 4, 2021 at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1926 in Jarrell, Texas to the late William Paul and Hermina Marie Holub Gelner. Evelyn was an owner and operator of a restaurant and a member of North Irving Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Nesselrotte, a son, Lawrence Ferguson and three siblings, Jerry Gelner, Claudine Gelner and William Albert "Bill" Gelner. She is survived by her son, George Keil of Irving, TX; daughter, Sheila Elmore and husband Travis of Rockledge, FL; grandchildren, Chris Ferguson and wife Christine, James Ferguson and wife Myrna, Shawn Elmore and wife Bridget, Nicole Elmore and husband Patrick, Jeremy Elmore and wife Chelsia, Jason Elmore and wife Stephanie, Nathan Elmore and wife Jessica, Matthew Elmore and wife Angell, twenty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; nephews, William Gelner of Malibu, CA, Scott Gelner of Pflugerville, TX; cousins, Larry and Linda Ward. Family will receive friends 2:00 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX.
