EVA MARTIN METCALF, passed away August 7, 2016 in Crowley, TX. She was born in Neosho, MO to James Marion and Eller Estella Paschall Martin. Eva married Roger Metcalf, Sr. in Dallas in 1945. They lived in Irving for 40 years. She most recently lived in Burleson. Mrs. Metcalf worked for General Foods, now Kraft for more than 40 yrs. After her retirement, she enjoyed working in her yard and garden, oil painting, traveling with family and church family to places like Hawaii, Greece and other destinations. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and served on the Alter Guild many years. She is preceded by her parents, loving husband, son Larry Metcalf and her siblings. Survivors include sons: Roger Metcalf, Jr. and wife Dawn and Martin Metcalf. Grandchildren: Amissa, Chelsea, Peyton, Jenifer and Mak; great-grandchildren Keeley, Colin, Jack, Madison, Kalie, Piper and Kale. The family received friends at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11th and the funeral service was held on Friday, August 12th in the funeral home chapel. Eva is buried at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.
