With a keen eye for the art, Bud was recognized as a gifted ceramic artist and potter. After receiving his MFA from Indiana State University. He taught ceramics and inspired countless students over the years. Adventurous, and with a love of sailing, he also co-founded a unique sailing charter business by introducing the beautiful tall ship - the schooner Red Witch - to the Great Lakes. A funeral Mass in celebration of Bud's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Church of the Incarnation at the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas. Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home in Irving, TX is handling the arrangements.
