Obituary

ESTHER LOUISE RENEAU HUNDLEY, born April 20, 1933 in McKinney, Texas, died January 22, 2012. I was married for almost 62 years (February 10, 1950) to Clarence Otis Hundley, who I seldom agreed with but loved dearly. We have 3 children, David Otis Hundley (deceased 3/7/1994), Reba Kay Watenpaugh and Kathy Lea Pilgrim; sons-in-law, David Watenpaugh and Ronald Pilgrim, all of Grapevine, Texas; and a loved daughter-in-law, Kay Hundley of Sanger, Texas. We have 3 grandsons, Michael Milam and wife Katie, Devin Pilgrim, and Logan Watenpaugh; one granddaughter, Karissa Milam Fairly; and one great grandson, Weston Reneau Fairly. I have one sister, Patricia Cox, who lives near Emory, Texas. Nothing in my life means more to me than my God and my family. I pray the best for each of my family members always. I worked 2 years at General Telephone in Dallas, and then moved with my husband to San Diego. There I worked for a CPA and Ryan Aeronautical until we moved back to Dallas 5 years later. I then started and operated my own business of bookkeeping and tax preparation for the next 42 years. I thank God for my grandparents who loved and valued me as long as they lived. My life was good and I am thankful. Service is 10 a.m., Friday, January 27 at Oak View Baptist Church, 1004 South Story Road, Irving with Dr. Jim Gerlach officiating. Visitation is 9-10 a.m. at the Church prior to the service. Burial is at 2 p.m., Friday at Cottage Hill Cemetery near Celina, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
