EMILY VALENCIA GOMEZ, age 29, of Arlington, Texas, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at a Dallas hospital. Born May 25, 1981 in Big Spring, Texas, she is the daughter of Joe Ernest Valencia and Diane Aguilar Sanchez. She moved to Arlington in 1998. She married David Gomez July 3, 2005 in Arlington. They were members of Calvary Church in Irving. Survivors include her husband David Gomez; a son, Eason David Gomez; her father Joe Ernest Valencia of Big Spring; mother and step-father, Diane and Leondro Sanchez of Big Spring; brothers, Joe Ernest Valencia, Jr. of Big Spring, Eric Anthony Valencia of Midland, Jake Valencia, Adrian Patrick Valencia, Michael Valencia and Mark Sanchez, all of Big Spring, Texas; sisters, Cecily Valencia and Ashley Valencia of Big Spring; father and mother-in-law, Jose Francisco and Sylvia Gomez of Arlington; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving, 6:00 8:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Church, 4401 N. Hwy 161, Irving with burial to follow at Moore's Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive in Arlington, Texas.
