Elton E. Reinhardt, age 88, of Irving, TX, passed away in his home on March 21, 2013. Born in Dallas on October 30, 1924 and a graduate of Sunset High School. In 1943, Elton joined the U.S. Navy, he was a proud veteran, serving on a Destroyer, The U.S.S. Porterfield in World War II. Elton married Sue Gillispie in 1947 and they lived in Irving for over 60 years. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years, Sue; his sons, Michael and wife Lina, Gary; daughter, Linda and husband Patrick and 2 granddaughters, Tiffany and Crystal. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Shea. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26, from 11:30am 12:30pm at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Irving, followed by a service at 12:30pm. As a World War II Vet, Elton will be laid to rest, with Military Honors, at 2:15pm at the DFW National Cemetery.
