Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Hale, 61, of Dallas, formerly of Irving, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at The William Clements UTSW Medical Center in Dallas. Born July 11, 1959 in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late R. A. Collins and Doris Enge Collins. She was married to Billy Hale, Jr who preceded her in death January 29, 2020. She worked in the Human Resources Department for AAA Cooper Trucking Company since 2004, where she was much loved. She moved to Dallas recently to be near her new grandson, whom she adored and spoiled. Liz was the most wonderful mother, friend, and Gram, and she will be missed by so many people, as well as her dog, Eleanor. Survivors include her daughter Deeana Meade and husband Kevin of Dallas; a son Michael Rosiles of Irving; a grandson, Henry; and three brothers, Wayne Collins and wife Vicki of Midlothian, Ronald Collins and wife Pam of Rowlett, and Stephen Collins and wife Peggy of Carrollton and their families. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving. Pastor Jerry Minx will officiate. Internment will be at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens at a later date. The memorial service will be livestreamed.
