ELIZABETH A. GRADY, age 87, a resident of Parkwood Independent Retirement Apartments in Bedford for the past 5 years, where she enjoyed the community and her friends, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at an Irving care center. Born April 5, 1928, in Hugo, Oklahoma, to R. Jacob Jones and Elizabeth Cooper Jones, she married Clarke Grady in 1956. A homemaker, Elizabeth was previously a resident of Irving for 51 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarke in 2014; and son, David Grady in September of 2015. Survivors include her daughter, Kathryn Grady of Dallas; son, Steven Grady and wife Yvonne of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Katy Grady, Kyle Grady, Megan Brown and husband Josh, Brandy Lee Hicks, Eldon Drew Noland and Joshua James Noland; special sister and friend, Nella Jones of Dallas; brother, Lynn Jones and wife Dorine, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside service will be 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 10 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway (Lane C) in Dallas. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, November 9 at Donnellys Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
