Age 91, a resident of Irving, TX for 50 years, died April 25, 2012 in Oklahoma. Born April 8, 1921 in Wausau, Wisconsin to Otto and Irene Elke Passow, Elaine served as a chaplain at several hospitals in the DFW Metroplex. Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Deacon Lee Stieber; a daughter, Karen Gagliardi of Oklahoma; a son, Richard Stieber of Irving; grandchildren, Kyle, Darren, and Blair; great-grandchildren, Payton and Braylon; brother, Roy Passow and sister, Betty Jehn, both of Wisconsin. The family will receive friends Sunday April 29, 2012 from 6:30 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 2323 Cheyenne in Irving, with a Rosary to be read at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Monday April 30, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Jerome Duesman as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home, 606 W. Airport Freeway, Irving.
