Edna worked for Republic National Bank and retired after 39 years in the Trust Department. Edna faithfully read her Bible each day, so much so that she wore it out and had to be given a new one. Edna was polite and kind to everyone she met. Many visitors would mention they would like to talk with her because she was so uplifting and positive. She tuned into the First United Methodist Church services each Sunday morning. Edna loved to walk each day and later in life she enjoyed her walks in her wheelchair.
